Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using vantisresearch.com or app.vantisresearch.com (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a US resident to join the Vantis panel. One account per person. You agree to provide accurate information, especially demographic data used for study matching.

3. What Vantis is

Vantis is a research panel that connects panelists with paid research opportunities (online surveys, app tests, product tests, online focus groups). Vantis does not pay panelists directly for individual studies — compensation is provided by the research sponsor running each study, on their terms. We are not responsible for sponsor follow-through, payment delays, or disqualification decisions.

4. Study participation

When you click “Apply” on a study, you are redirected to that study's sponsor or screener. You apply at your own discretion. Sponsors decide who qualifies, conduct the study, and pay successful participants per their stated terms. We may track which studies you apply to and complete, in aggregated/anonymized form, for sponsor reporting and quality assurance.

5. Code of conduct

You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts or impersonate another person
• Provide false demographic information to access studies you don't qualify for
• Use bots, automation, or scrapers to interact with the Service
• Resell or repost study URLs to non-members
• Harass sponsors, other panelists, or Vantis staff

Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination, at our discretion.

6. Researcher posting terms

Researchers and study sponsors who pay to post studies via our Recruit page agree to: (a) accurately describe their study and compensation; (b) honor compensation promises to qualifying participants; (c) comply with all applicable IRB, FDA, FTC, and state laws governing research; (d) not contact panelists outside the scope of their advertised study; (e) report study completion and compensation outcomes when requested. Posting fees are non-refundable once a study is published, except in cases of platform error.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty. We do not guarantee that you'll qualify for any specific study, that studies will be available in your area, or that sponsors will pay on time. Compensation amounts shown are sponsor-reported and may vary.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantis Research and SSAFF are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (typically $0 for panelists).

9. Termination

You can close your account anytime from your profile. We can suspend or terminate any account for violation of these Terms. Closure removes you from the panel and unsubscribes you from emails.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to active members at least 14 days before taking effect.
